1. Identify Hinge Clip Style
The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.
Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.
Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

Below is an actual picture of the keyboard. Please confirm that the layout matches as well as the language.
NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

macbook air keyborad key
I bought a new up key as mine had cracked. It's such a small key it was hard to see the part and the videos don't show very well which side is up and which is down. Lukily, my teenager has great eyes and dextrous fingers and figured it out and installed it for me. It would be great if these came with a diagram showing how to install and which side is up.

Replacement keys
The letters were completely worn away on the keys of this MacBook air. The reliable, lightweight machine deserved a facelift, and these keys did the trick. They fit and matched perfectly, and were not difficult to install.

Looks Great!
I just purchased this key and so far it is working great. It took me a couple tries to get the actual key itself on, but otherwise, the video was very helpful and the key arrived exactly as it was described. The only negative was that I paid the couple extra dollars for faster shipping and the tracking to my door, but instead, it only tracked it to Canada, before saying that it should be delivered soon. If I had known that in advance I would've saved the couple extra dollars and instead gotten the cheapest shipping. Overall, I am very impressed as everywhere I had gone had said that it would cost me over $300 and I would have to replace my whole keyboard, but so far this is doing the trick perfectly.

"E" Key
I had to order twice, as there were two different keyboards for the same Mac, and I chose the wrong one. I suggest that you show the photographs of the "buterfly" piece more clearly to help decide which one is the right one, when there is more than one option. Te rest, OK!

Has index finger indicator on H key
Perfect fit, arrived quickly, easy to install. Only odd part was that my H key came with a little index finger indicator bump (that usually only come on the F and J key so you can find your hand placement without looking). It works fine though and I'll just pay more attention when typing so I don't end up with my hand one position to the left.
