Apple MacBook Pro Laptop Key Replacement (Retina Display)

Spilled soda on my 2014 MBP and stupidly tried to avoid damage by using a hot hair dryer on the keyboard. Of course, I caused more damage than intended by melting about 6 of the fragile keys. They still worked if I took the key cover off so I figured the Apple Store could just swap out the keys no sweat. They quoted me the standard $475, which I laughed at. Gave this a try before I went back to the Apple Store, and purchased three keys (the ones that got melted the worst and weren't working). Arrived a week later, quickly and easily swapped them out, and they look and work perfectly. Will buy the other three keys shortly. Anyone who is missing a key cover on their laptop is stupid, this was a simple, cheap, and effective fix. Highly recommend!

The graphics and guides to detail which keys you need were very accurate. Unfortunately there were problems with my order. I had three items in my order and when I placed the order two of them disapeared. Right away I sent an email through the system and said that I didn't want to pay doubleshipping. I wasn't even allowed to cancel my order in that moment. I checked back the day after and the day after that in order to see if they got back to me to either add the items I needed or if they would cancel my order. Three to Four days later they got back to me and I had to place another order, paying for shipping with the offer to refund shipping costs on the next order. Disappointing service.

Worked like a charm. Originally took the computer to Apple and was told I'd need to replace the entire keyboard at some absurd cost, just to replace a single key. Thanks to these guys I only had to spend $7, and the key is nearly indistinguishable from the other keys. In addition, it just works. Thanks guys.

When it comes individual MacBooks keys, you don’t have much choice. I ordered two keys from them and it arrived about 3 weeks later (maybe 4) basically the support from them isn’t that great but the product is fine. Again, if they had shipped it earlier id give them 5 stars but it’s fine, I got the two keys eventually.

I had warped my spacebar by overuse of acetone during a battery replacement. Apple support wanted something around $30 to replace.

I had waited for a year not knowing that I could replace my missing key for a few bucks. I did have to pull another key off to figure out how this went on, but it was easy to replace. The key was in great condition and packaging. Reasonable price considering international postage to Canada.

Whilst the cost of the key was good, and the speed of delivery was also good, the difficulty of attaching the key makes me wish I had not taken off the worn key. Apple need to provide clear instructions , including the fact that a magnifying glass and tweezers are required.
