1. Identify Hinge Clip Style
The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.
Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.
Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

2. Confirm Keyboard Layout and Language
Below is an actual picture of the keyboard. Please confirm that the layout matches as well as the language.
NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

Speedy delivery and easy intallation!
Great website showing exactly which keys are for which model of laptop. Arrived in about a week or so (to Austria). Fits perfectly, and although no instructions were included for fitting, even I was able to install it after just a few fumbling attempts! So now I have a fully functioning Y key! (It was not right from the start!)

Works, but not sure it's right
Even though the key has a sans serif N, sometimes when I press it, I get serifs. I looked on the site and watched all the videos to see if I could find a Times New Roman N, but couldn't find one. I'd say this one works about half the time. For example, it's working now. But the rest of the time I get serifs. One time I even got a cursive N! Hopefully they can fix this. The Geek Squad suggested I get a different Mac Book for each font, so I've ordered a new Mac Book Pro Retina. The pictures show it with sans serif keys, but the Geek Squad guy said he'd retrofit it for Times New Roman when it comes in, and also install a bunch of other software I need for another $249.99. I just have to meet him after work behind the store. I'm on fixed income so I can't afford more than just an Arial and a Times New Roman computer. I'm not sure how the rest of you can afford all those fonts! Anyway, this is a good N key most of the time.

Exactly what i ordered
From order to arrival all good even down to the help video made it so easy to install. good as new again The center rubber was a suprise to find loose and then finding on the floor afterwards.

it would have been 5 stars if they would have given me some adhesive for the rubber button or at least pointed me in the right direction. In my ignorance i destroyed it. Now my space bar will never work again. The parts themselves were 5 out of 5 but I needed a how to pamphlet.
