1. Identify Hinge Clip Style

The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.

Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.

Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

2. Confirm Keyboard Layout and Language

Below is an actual picture of the keyboard. Please confirm that the layout matches as well as the language.

NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

Very tiny parts to handle. But followed the instructions in YouTube and I was able to install them at the 2nd try. Good as new now.

My macbook pro keys were ripped off by a falling speaker lol but anyway i received my keys and they must have been broken in shipping and i contacted this company and they immediately sent out another set in perfect condition at no cost to me! I would use them again if another incident occurs :)

I ordered 2 keys. Great price! They came very quickly and were easy to install. I was nervous because the order status did not change even after a few days, but the keys were indeed sent and got to me the day after I sent an email. So, don't be wary if customer service doesn't answer! I'd buy from them again if I ever need replacement keys!

The key installation is simple and well covered with videos to tell you how. The hardest part was determining which model of key top and attachment mechanism (I failed that test once) since the pictures show the key attachment in place, which makes it hard to see the difference between the mechanism and the place it was attached. But an email to the company with a photo of what I had and they told me exactly what was needed.

So, i don't know how my caps key broke on my mac. As a graphic designer, i rarely use it, but my mac is my soul to my work, and cherish it. When my key broke, I admit, I panicked, but then I came across this company on Google, and was amazed at such a service. The key itself, when it came was packed great and worked perfectly. great service and great product. Thank you. will order again soon for my enter key.
