1. Identify Hinge Clip Style
The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.
Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.
Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

replacement key
Time taken to receive items is usually 2 weeks to Australia. This took 3+ weeks. A slight mismatch in colour amongst my other keys though. Other than that, the replacement key works perfectly. Loved the website as they were very detailed in helping you choose the proper key (model) for my keyboard. Thanks

Finally fixed my long missing Enter key.
My Late 2011 MacbookPro was missing its Return key for 2 years after it broke off from a cell phone dropping on it and snapping all the innards. After an unsuccessful attempt to get it fixed for free at the Genius Bar, I lived with it broken until seeing reccomendations for ReplacementLaptopKeys.com on Apple.com and MacRumors forums. They sent me all the missing hardware I needed (key, metal pin, plastic hinge and silicone squishy pad). It installed perfectly although it took me a while to figure out the specific orientation of the plastic hinge. There were no videos or instructions on their site for this particular key for my particular laptop, but YouTube searching other videos eventually helped me find the proper orientation. The action on the new key is a bit soft compared to the other keys (which have more of a click). I think this is due to the silicone pad being smaller than what was originally there, so the key is missing some extra height to push through. But it's a non issue, and the key is actually easier to press than others. It's great to have a working enter key again.
