This is 100% OEM Acer V5 Laptop Keyboard Key, Its compatible with most V5 series, as long as the hinge clip matches it will fit properly.We currently only carry version IC07 in stock, version IC06 is special order only and will take 1-2 weeks.
The easiest way to tell which version you have is by comparing the SHAPE of the HINGE CLIP (the white plastic clip under the key cap)

1. Identify Hinge Clip Style
The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.
Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.
Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

2. Confirm Keyboard Layout and Language
Below is an actual picture of the keyboard. Please confirm that the layout matches as well as the language.
NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

I dropped something on my laptop and broke one of my keys. I didn't even know you could just fix one key but after a month or so, I decided to look into it. I found this website and done some research. I was worried it would be difficult to fix because I have never done it and it looks complicated. But since it was only a few dollars, I decided it cant hurt too much to give it a try. It came to me in a few days and it was surprisingly really easy to fix. the piece that was left on my keyboard popped right off and the new one popped right on. The only thing I do not like it is that it is a slightly different shade than the rest of my keys. but as far as function, no problems at all.
