The "A" key on my MacBook Pro 13,3/A1707 was broken. I purchased this solution (for the "A" key only). Luckily, it looks like it was only the key itself that was broken, and I just needed to snap that in (go to YouTube if you need guidance). I didn't need to use the hinge or cup. I put 4 stars and not 5 only because I've only had this replacement key in for about three weeks, but so far, no problems. I will come back to this site if I need a replacement key in the future and would recommend it to others.

Keys with cup and hinge are exactly the same as original ones. Replacement is quite tricky as you have to remove old cap (using a little force) and then glue new one (I used superglue for that). Two days after whole operation repaired key looks and behaves exactly as original ones.

This is exactly what is advertised: a replacement key. It is compatible with the keyboard and allows to do point replacements from this awful mac keyboard. Replacing is not easy, but feasible.
