This generation of the MacBook Air Keyboard Key Replacement features the butterfly hinge clip design that was previously used in the higher end MacBook Pro line, the key features a bigger typing area and also a brighter backlit key.

Please note wit this model of hinge clip design there is no "rubber cup" included as it is integrated into keyboard so this key kit will come with the KEY CAP, and butterfly hinge clip only.

I just saw that my first review was "pending approval", which means it will not be approved because I exposed the junk these keys are. No wonder there are only 13 reviews and they coincidentally all gave 5 stars. As if I thought your business couldn't get shadier... I don't expect this review to be posted. But my first one should.

I was skeptical this would fix my sticky "v" key on my brand new macbook air, but it works better than before! Very pleased-- my V key works great now! V... VVV VVVVVV... look at all the beautiful Vs! Also, this saved me SO much money as I did not have to send my laptop back to apple for a simple fix. Thank you!

They are very easy to install. One problem is that the when you remove the cup from the computer the adhesive is no longer sticky. I don't feel like risking my 2000 dollar computer by super glueing a key. Here is a good video to help with the installation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jvmtoWgVAc
