Apple used different butterfly keyboard generations. These replacement keys use the second-generation butterfly mechanism found on compatible Late 2016–2018 MacBook Pro models. First-generation butterfly keycaps and hinge clips have different dimensions and attachment points and will not fit correctly.

Replacement "Return" Key
Yes! Thank you for selling individual key caps. I broke my "return" key trying to clean underneath and the original key did not feel as springy as it did before. The part came in pretty fast with the cheapest shipping and I popped it on and it feels good as new!

Replacement key
My "O" key on my new MacBook Pro was not working properly and was not typing when I pressed it. I was nervous to order a new key from a source other than apple but I decided to try it! I'm so happy I did because the replacement key came and I popped it on and now my "O" key works perfectly! Very happy.

Right parts, but no instructions
I just needed the replacement key cap and not mechanism, so this was easy to install (and works great). The "Free Video Installation Guide" link leads to a page that has NO INFORMATION for this model key, so I had to search on YouTube for instructions. I have no idea how to replace the key mechanism or if it is even possible, but did not need to do so.
