1. Identify Hinge Clip Style

The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.

Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.

Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

2. Confirm Keyboard Layout and Language

Below is an actual picture of the keyboard. Please confirm that the layout matches as well as the language.

NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

I had to replace 4 keys on my laptop, so I searched for other people's reviews to see which site I should use. This one seemed very suspect because of many negative reviews it has. Ultimately, I split my 4 key order in two: 1 from this site, and 3 from QuickFixLaptopKeys.com, which has very high ratings. I left an order comment saying I also ordered from the competitor, and we'll see who gets here first. This site won the race, finishing 8 days after I ordered. Corona has slowed down all kinds of online delivering, so 8 days wasn't too bad. 2 days later, I'm still waiting for the rest of my keys. Maybe I'll see if ReplacementLaptopKeys can lap their competition... Just kidding I'm too broke for that. I felt that I should give them a review for winning the race. It was a pretty big event over here: The things we do to entertain ourselves during Covid. They only get 4 stars because they never gave me an expected delivery date, so I spent almost a week without a clue on when to expect it. I didn't really hear anything except that I paid for my product. They did send a track code, but that was pretty useless. It just said that the item was delayed. So, congrats on winning the race, I guess.

I've bought 2 caps at separate times from replacementlaptopkeys now, and both times they've been a perfect fit. The video guides on how to install them have been helpful too. They ship out really quickly and get all the way to AU really fast. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys, or to get more keys from them when I spill my coffee all over the laptop again.
