1. Identify Hinge Clip Style

The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.

Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.

Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

2. Confirm Keyboard Layout and Language

Below is an actual picture of the keyboard. Please confirm that the layout matches as well as the language.

NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

Thank you Replacement Laptop Keys! I received my key kit and was easily able to replace my damaged A key. Now it will go through the test of time. Website instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the product is as described. I would suggest clearer communication on delivery eta. I didn't think it'd take a full 2 weeks to receive the key, but I'm glad it finally came in. Thanks again and I'll be back if I'm ever in the market for another Replacement key!

It was everything I asked for, they came in a timely fashion, they are the same style as the rest of my keys and they fit great. The only small downside is the price, but it wasn't a big deal.

Was tryna find a replacement key and clip for my alienware laptop. Only problem was Alienware didn't use the keyboard it claimed it had installed during production. Instead they used a keyboard from an older, unidentified laptop model. Thankfully replacementlaptopkeys offered detailed pictures of the key and clips they sold and I was able to identify my keys as from a laptop model Alienware had discontinued years earlier. (Guess Alienware figured them old parts gotta go SOMEWHERE). So I got the clip I needed, and I thank you guys for that. Them kind of detailed pics make all the difference! Love ya, folks!
