1. Identify Hinge Clip Style

The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.

Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.

Hinge Clips are not Universal so if your hinge clip does not match, please Contact Us for help.

2. Confirm Keyboard Layout and Language

Below is an actual picture of the keyboard. Please confirm that the layout matches as well as the language.

NOTE:The default color of the keyboard we show is black. If your model comes in different colors and we have it in stock, it will be available in the color section above.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Our standard keyboard layout is QWERTY (shown below). If you have a different language layout the key cap and hinge clips are still interchangeable. If the key cap shape does not match or you require a different language layout please contact us before ordering.

I struggled finding a replacement key, and didn't have high hopes for this replacement. I was sorely mistaken and pleased. It took a couple of minutes to install, and it matches the red backlight really well. I'm using it on a Dell 15" Inspiron 5577, and it fits perfectly.

Product is easy to put together and use. Fit into my keyboard without difficulty. I ordered the A, S, and D keys. My main complaint is the quality of the print. The letters are not the same font as the others, they also are not the same color. The A/S/D keys have a red border on them originally, but these have poor design. They are again, not the same color, and the borders on they keys are not even centered. Keys work fine though.

Accidentally broke a key cleaning my wife’s laptop, called Dell and they said it would be $300+ CAD to repair because they would have to replace the entire thing. Found Replacement Laptop Keys online and ordered the key I needed. Shipped and received a few weeks later, almost can’t tell it isn’t the original! Popped it on, works like a charm, entire thing fixed for less than $15 CAD. Awesome!

After I bought my first gaming laptop I dropped my controller on to the keyboard and broke my up Arrow key and was pretty bummed out about it but then I found this website and was able to find a replacement key and it fit perfectly made my week so much better.
