DELL during the production of the Latitude D630 laptop used 6 different laptop keyboard vendors, the keyboard looks exactly the same on top, but the hinge clips under the key cap vary in color and shape, look below to match up the version your keyboard uses.

HINT: If your hinge is all black, you most likely have DC03, if your hinge is black and white, compare version DC05 and DC39, DC07 has a distint green ring around the rubber cup, DC11 and DC28 the shapes are quite different, DC11 has a single metal tab at the top, and DC28 has a single wider tab at the bottom.

The hinge clip is the plastic scissor clip that swivels up and down underneath the keyboard key cap. It is usually either black or white and functions as the part that holds the back of he key to the keyboard.

Manufacturers often use different keyboard vendors during production and each vendor has its own unique type of hinge clip. Compare the chart and identify the version that matches. You will fill this info in Step 2 above.
