Apple used different butterfly keyboard generations. These replacement keys use the second-generation butterfly mechanism found on compatible Late 2016–2018 MacBook Pro models. First-generation butterfly keycaps and hinge clips have different dimensions and attachment points and will not fit correctly.

Replaced one key on Macbook 2018
The key fit perfectly and I am grateful that no longer my fingers hurt. The only thing I wish if they had keys with annotation in other languages, for example, my keyboard has Arabic letters, and now only this key "A" doesn't have the Arabic letter.

MacBook Pro 2016 Key
Delivery was perfect to Colombia. Perfect packaging and the tutorials on the website to make the replacement were optimal. The only thing is that some keys have some different clipping parts than the original so I messed up the new key because the clipping to the butterfly system was different than the original. Still, great service!
